DOG PARTY!

Y’all, this is so serious – I attended a dog party! I photographed a dog party. Like a Go, Dog. Go! dog party! And, I got to bring my little girl, Ginger. There was dog cake, dog treats, dog toy party favors. It was doggy heaven! I am pretty sure that more dogs and people attended this party than any of my own human birthday parties. Emmy is a cutie and her owner is fab (also, one of my favorite humans). This pooch received the sweetest birthday present too - a hand drawn picture of herself with blue glasses, pink hair and fuzzy stickers to illustrate the fur (please zoom in). Everything about this night was spectacular, even the sunset and phenomenal colors! Happy 1st birthday to Emerson, the sassiest pup ever!

Y'all, can we agree this little one year old has the biggest smile with the cutest cheeks?! I couldn’t believe I got to take Lennox’s one year photos. It only feels like two months since I took his newborn photos! I was so happy when his momma contacted me about doing a lumberjack themed cake smash. I literally squealed looking at the outfit she sent me! I knew this theme was perfect because his daddy has this big, bushy, black beard and wears plaid regularly. Oh, and y’all, let me just throw out there that this mom just might be a superhero - she MADE that cake. Yes, that one that looks 100% store bought and delicious! She said she stayed up have the night and Pinterested like a boss! Wow! Serious skills there! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as Lennox enjoyed his cake!

OREGON VACATION | PART ONE

So far you’ve seen a lot of my session posts, but I wanted to give a little more insight into my life and the places I’ve been. I am more of a storyteller through pictures, but here it goes anyway! This past Christmas, Robert and I went to Oregon. It was such an amazing and sweet little vacation I definitely did not expect. I was home sitting on our oversized, grey couch and Robert came in and said he had a surprise for me. Of course, I’m thinking it was a dinner date to get buffalo wings or Whataburger, my two favorites. He brought me his computer with a list on it. At first I was a little confused, but my heart melted as I read a list of locations with a title of “Pick One.”             Marfa, TX New Mexico Colorado New York Portland, OR Chicago Pacific Coast Highway Harry Potter World Now look, I know you’re thinking, “how could you pass up Harry Potter World?” but we’ve both been thinking of Portland and the Pacific coast for a while so it was time.
