WOW, WOW, WOW! Can you just believe this beautiful couple?! 

When I talked with Karolína, she said her favorite style was vintage romantic. She loves black and white photos and fields of flowers. My excitement for this session literally kept me up at night! I knew I had to find the perfect location for these two. I racked my brain for every location I could think of and the barn my cousin had her wedding reception at kept coming to mind. I reached out to her and found that it belonged to a family friend. How fantastic! Also, John’s mother made the flower crown, which was perfect and pretty! I love when things just work!

OREGON VACATION | PART ONE

So far you’ve seen a lot of my session posts, but I wanted to give a little more insight into my life and the places I’ve been. I am more of a storyteller through pictures, but here it goes anyway! This past Christmas, Robert and I went to Oregon. It was such an amazing and sweet little vacation I definitely did not expect. I was home sitting on our oversized, grey couch and Robert came in and said he had a surprise for me. Of course, I’m thinking it was a dinner date to get buffalo wings or Whataburger, my two favorites. He brought me his computer with a list on it. At first I was a little confused, but my heart melted as I read a list of locations with a title of “Pick One.”             Marfa, TX New Mexico Colorado New York Portland, OR Chicago Pacific Coast Highway Harry Potter World Now look, I know you’re thinking, “how could you pass up Harry Potter World?” but we’ve both been thinking of Portland and the Pacific coast for a while so it was time.

LENNOX + CAKE SMASH

Y'all, can we agree this little one year old has the biggest smile with the cutest cheeks?! I couldn’t believe I got to take Lennox’s one year photos. It only feels like two months since I took his newborn photos! I was so happy when his momma contacted me about doing a lumberjack themed cake smash. I literally squealed looking at the outfit she sent me! I knew this theme was perfect because his daddy has this big, bushy, black beard and wears plaid regularly. Oh, and y’all, let me just throw out there that this mom just might be a superhero - she MADE that cake. Yes, that one that looks 100% store bought and delicious! She said she stayed up have the night and Pinterested like a boss! Wow! Serious skills there! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as Lennox enjoyed his cake!
