Katie and Logen have had one heck of a journey. They first met in the hallways of high school and were unquestionably going to be high school sweethearts. They started dating without really even having a first date and were inseparable no matter what life through at them. They made it through four years of college, multiple job changes, starting a business and an unfortunate family death, yet their love for one another never waivered. Katie and Logen love spending their time at home watching Stranger Things or documentaries, while drinking coffee and cuddling up with their pup, Suzie, and cats, Shadow and Patches. Logen’s sweet and simple proposal in their home under the Christmas tree melted Katie’s heart. It only made sense to have an in-home wedding as well. It was the perfect fit for their laid-back personalities. Their wedding was put together with care by loving family members. Katie’s Aunt Tam was thrilled to host her niece’s wedding and Katie’s father played the role of the officiant. The aunts arranged the flowers while one of the uncles DJed. Katie is a collector of amethyst and placed a few of the precious stones at the center of each table. Logen and his groomsmen wore violet patterned bow ties and socks. Their ceremony was so tender and full of sweet emotion. Logen wiped away a tear as he saw Katie in her wedding dress as she walked down the isle. The casual atmosphere of the wedding was concluded with a bubble send off. These are some of my favorite images from their wedding!

Y'all, can we agree this little one year old has the biggest smile with the cutest cheeks?! I couldn’t believe I got to take Lennox’s one year photos. It only feels like two months since I took his newborn photos! I was so happy when his momma contacted me about doing a lumberjack themed cake smash. I literally squealed looking at the outfit she sent me! I knew this theme was perfect because his daddy has this big, bushy, black beard and wears plaid regularly. Oh, and y’all, let me just throw out there that this mom just might be a superhero - she MADE that cake. Yes, that one that looks 100% store bought and delicious! She said she stayed up have the night and Pinterested like a boss! Wow! Serious skills there! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as Lennox enjoyed his cake!

Halloween is a time where there's talk of spiders, pumpkins and ghosts, but for this little girl, it is all about dreams, wishes and Cinderella! How sweet is this session with Lily and her princess outfit?! She was so serious about not losing her shoe and that we all just melted!
